Short for fastkubikmeter under bark (solid cubic meter under bark). The actual wood volume excluding bark, top, branches, and stump.
The conversion factor between net harvest volume in m³fub and net harvest volume in m³sk is estimated as 1.188 in the Swedish Forest Agency’s report 2022/16.
To convert from m³fub to m³sk, we use 1.188 as an average conversion factor. Multiply m³fub by 1.188.
To convert from m³sk to m³fub, divide by 1.188.
m³fub = m³sk / 1,188
Example:
If you have 100 m³sk and want to calculate what that corresponds to in m³fub:
m³fub = 100 / 1,188 ≈ 84,18
So 100 m³sk corresponds to approximately 84.18 m³fub.
