How we handle your personal data
Step 1

Data collection

We fly a drone equipped with a LiDAR scanner, which means the forest is scanned with lasers. The result is a point cloud—a digital twin of the forest—where we can distinguish which points represent trees and which represent ground, among other things.

Step 2

Tree-level analysis

We analyze the digital twin from the drone flight to estimate height, diameter, volume, and basal area (grundyta) for every tree in the forest. We can also provide a reliable species distribution—both by number of stems and by volume. On request, we can use the data to highlight indicators of conservation value, such as standing and downed dead wood.

Step 3

Visualization and reporting

We provide a report and a mapping tool where you can view and use the information about the forest. The data can be used for forest management actions, planning, or property valuation.
