Forestry meetup with Handelsbanken and Hyggligt

This week, Handelsbanken and Hyggligt hosted a joint forestry meetup with curious forest owners. The event was organized for Handelsbanken customers and focused on Hyggligt’s digital solutions and harvesting method—centered selective cutting (centrerad plockhuggning)—to make continuous-cover forestry (hyggesfritt skogsbruk) more efficient. We met at the forest property outside Östhammar where we carried out our very first harvest.

There were many great questions and discussions about how tree selection works, how natural regeneration in pine stands plays out, and what the economics look like with selective cutting.
